Paneer Pakoda

Hi friends,
Am back with yet another Blogging Marathon. This is the 12th edition and group 2. Hope u liked my Rajasthani recipes last week.
This week u will be seeing all the paneer recipes. Today its raining and very cold. Back in India people usually make pakoda's and eat when its very cold or raining outside. So today I made Pakoda's with paneer. Here goes the recipe....

We need:

Paneer 1/2 lb
Besan / Gram flour 12 cups
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry
Garam masala 1 sp
Chili powder 1sp
Bicarbonate soda 1/4 sp

Method:

Cut paneer into long strips about 2 inches length.
Deep fry these strips in oil till golden brown and keep aside.
Now add salt, garam masala, soda and chili powder to besan and mix with water to smooth batter.
Now dip these fried paneer strips in besan/ gram flour mix and deep fry till golden brown or till crisp.
Serve hot with Geen chutney or sweet chutney.
