Falafel

Today's dish is Falafel. Its a Middel Eastern dish made with chickpeas. These fritters are now found around the world as a replacement for meat and as a form of street food.
I Have been thinking to do this dish from quite some time. When Srivalli announced about this theme cooking with ready made stuff, first dish I which came to my mind was Falafel. So here it is.......

We need:


Falafel powder mix 1packet( 7 0z)
Water 1cup
Oil to deep frying
Ketchup or tarator sauce


Method

Add water to falafel powder and mix well.

Cover and leave it for 2hours.
Heat oil in deep frying pan.
Make small dumplings or balls with the mixture and deep for for 1 minute on high and 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame till golden color or crisy.
Serve hot with pita bread or tarator sauce and vegetables.
