Mint Lassi

Mint leaves are the tender herb that have gentle stems and are best used raw are added at the end of the cooking in order to maintain their flavor and texture. Mint is relatively easy to grow and  can be grown even in a small pot.

Mint is commonly used to flavor Middle Eastern dishes, such as lamb, soups and vegetable salads. Adding mint is a great way to add flavors to a dish or beverage without adding excessive calories or sugar. Mint leave are widely used as a digestive aid. Fresh mint leaves not only add flavor but also adds nutrition to many different recipes. Chewing on whole leaves may have many health benefits too.

Lassi is a healthful yogurt based  drink popular through out India. Adding Fresh mint to yogurt makes a wonderful , refreshing and soothing drink for the hot summer day. So this recipes goes to 4th week and 2nd day of BM 64 under the theme "Summer Coolers".
