Batata Harra ( Lebanese Spicy potatoes )

Batata Harra means spicy potatoes in Arabic. The crispy golden potato cubes are fried and tossed in

cilantro sauce along with fresh garlic, chili flakes and paprika. Hint of lime juice at the end  gives

this dish a very nice taste and flavor.  In the traditional recipe potatoes are deep fried first, then add

them to cilantro sauce and fry again. Basically we are double frying here. As many are health

conscious  these days, you can either air fry the potatoes or bake them in oven until crisp and then

add to the sauce. Or you can shallow fry them with very little oil as I am doing today. This can be

serves as an appetizer, a side dish or as an main dish
