Spicy Bread Omelette

Bread Omelette is our family's favorite breakfast. It is so quick  and healthy dish made just in few

minutes. Kids like to have just plain omelette, me and my husband like to have it spicy with some

chopped onions, green chili and cilantro. It is a great mid day snack or after school day as well. This

recipe goes to day 3 week 2 of Blogging Marathon 124 under the theme " Brighten Your Breakfast".

 Ingredients:

Bread slices 2

Eggs 2

Chopped onion 1 tbsp

Chopped green chili 1 tsp

Chopped cilantro 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Chili powder 1/2 tsp

Oil 1 /2 tbsp

Preparation:

In  a mixing bowl crack the eggs and beat them well.

Now add chopped onion, green chili, cilantro, salt, turmeric and chili powder.

Combine everything well.

Heat  a non stick pan / tawa, add some oil and spread all over.

Now add the egg mixture on the tawa and spread evenly.

Place the bread slices on the omelette.

Add some oil to the edges of the omelette, cook for a minute on medium flame and flip over.

Cook for another minute, fold and serve hot with ketchup or chili sauce.
